On the Road Again

All buckled up and ready to go on our way to Gatlinburg, Tennesee!

Great Smokey Mountains

It was great to visit with Chad, Christy, Lydia, and Joshua when we went ot Gatlinburg. Lydia has grown so much and the girls just played like they were long time friends.

Over the Mountain

On our first full day in Gatlinburg we took a ride through the mountains. We visited Cherokee, NC and enjoyed the beautiful fall foilage.

Our Pro

Hannah quickly got the hang of it, in no time she was skating circles around all of us.

Lazy Days

Dad grilled some great steak for us and the girls had fun throwing rocks in the creek.

Dollywood

It was so cold the two days we visited Dollywood that we got to see lots of shows. Babes in Toyland

Mountain Train Ride

Well despite the freezing temperatures we did not want to miss an opportunity to ride the train. It was very cold but we tried to snuggle up together and use body heat to keep warm. The hot chocolate hleped a little but as we are on the train it started lightly snowing.

Christmas in Dixie

We enjoyed all the holiday decorations.

Carousel Ride

It was so cold this was one of the few rides we chose to suffer through the cold so the girls could ride. It was a sprint to an indoor building as soon as this ride was over.

Skylift

The ride up was very nice, the ride down made me a little nervous. Olivia did great. Jerry, Hannah, and my mom were not interested in riding so they went to the arcade and had some fun.

Let's go for a ride

Day of Riding

Jerry and I took our first extended motorcycle ride together this summer. I had not been on the bike for more than five minutes. So instead of taking an easy hour long ride we went all out and rode out to the mountains for a day trip. We were with Lori and Rod Newman and our girls spent the day at their house. It was a lot of fun but I have a new respect for bike riders. It is physically demanding to hold your body up like that. My bum was quite sore from sitting on that little bitty seat.

Happy 9th Birthday Hannah

Hannah had her friends over to celebrate her 9th birthday. We hula hooped, played pictionary, played dance praise, and wrapped shoe boxes with gifts for operation Christmas Child. She enjoyed her girl day and we were glad to celebrate on Saturday the 3rd of Nov. because when she woke up Sunday 11-4 (her actual birthday) she was sick.

Splish Splash

The girls were so dirty with sand that we had to give them a bath. Luckily the laundry room was nearby and we were able to wash there clothes as well.

Good Company

Hannah enjoyed practicing her crochet skills while Aunt Phyllis was knitting.

Family Visits

Aunt Phyllis and Paula visited us here in October. Olivia was so happy to see them and have Aunt Phyllis braid her hair. I think Hannah was showing us her webkinz online.
