A Night Out!

The girls pose in front of the restaurant for a picture. This was an old house that has been converted to a very quaint place to have a nice dinner. We were very proud of how well behaved the girls were. A family came to our table as they were leaving and commented how much they enjoyed watching us. Just what you always wanted to know someone has been watching you eat your dinner. They had three grown daughters and said it reminded them of a time not too long ago when they took their children out. Sometimes we forget just how fast time goes and I know I will look back at this picture one day with a smile.

We had one big surprise for the girls the Saturday before Christmas. We had tickets to the Nutcracker Ballet in Richmond,VA. The girls had no idea why we were getting them all dressed up. We had a great time watching the show and then we took the girls to a nice dinner at Ruth's Christ steakhouse. It was a very nice evening and I think a memory they will cherish.
