Final Countdown

It's Summertime and for our family it has been filled with lots of activities. This picture of the girls is from our vacation bible school, Set Sail Spread the Good News.

We are preparing for the big day this Friday when Jerry will say farewell to the U.S. Coast Guard. It's been so exciting to see God answer our prayers for a job and as most of you know Jerry will begin a new career with Microsoft in September. Yes he is taking the month of August off, please keep me and the girls in prayer. We will be staying in Virginia and most of the time Jerry will be working from his home office. We have a vacation planned next week and have many fun things on our agenda. We will first stop for a night in Baltimore, MD (Jerry's birthday) to meet up with my sister and her family. We will then travel on Sunday to Manhattan for a four night stay and many activities planned including Jerry and I celebrating our 14 year Wedding Anniversary. Abigail will turn 5 the following day. On Thursday we will travel to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania for a stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. This is a hotel that has an indoor waterpark. We will leave on Friday and head back home. We will let you know about all our activities when we get back home.

Please keep my brother-in-law Carl Willeford in your prayers. He had emergency surgery on Monday night to remove his appendix. He was suppose to travel here on Thursday with his family and that is questionable at this time.
